THIS IS MY FIRST POST YOU GUYS AND THEY WILL KEEP GETTING BETTER
Before I learned how to ”SAVE”, which is very important or you lose everything, I lost this entire post after writing until four in the morning. So now I think I know how to save and will save anything I write from here on out which I’m sure you are very happy to hear!🤦♂️
I think I was writing about how I was warned to hire a professional to create the website. But being the daughter of , um how should I say this, a very penurious father, I wanted to save the money and do it myself . Now I am paying for that decision because I am a singer songwriter plus not a graphic designer. So I had a crash course in designing and creating a website and crashed quite a few times.
Before I go on about the adventures in website design, I would like to explain what I mean about the using the adjective penurious in describing my father rather than calling him cheap. Just a couple of examples are how he used to send bills without a stamp rather than to pay the six cents per stamp it was back then because he said if they wanted their payment they could pay for the stamp. 😩🤦♂️

Another example is how he used to park six blocks away from somewhere where it was free and walk to his destination rather than pay for parking closer to it. God bless him, although he didn’t believe in God, parking was only two dollars or less and I think he could’ve paid for it rather than have us all walk. But he was so happy to have saved two dollars or less. You can only imagine the effect that this behavior had on his children! We have to work hard to spend money that we work hard to earn. 😳 I am going to have to write a post just about my father! I am working on my autobiography in between web design and home improvements so I have a chapter about both my parents I can use to remember,
I hope that you have had a chance to see some of the other pages on my website and can you give me your opinion on the ”Lets Chat“ button on every page. I woud love to hear any feedback you have to offer on how the site looks and functions as well as your opinion on the content. One can lose perspective on what one is doing after a few sleepless nights! So I welcome any and all comments.
I have received several comments from friends about the amount of photographs I have on the site. I explain on my favorites page that I love photography and have an even added photographer as a title after singer songwriter musician. Although I have been paid a few times to take photographs, I am not a professional yet. I hope one day to pursue this incredible art in more depth. So even though adding photographs and video to my site doesn’t promote my music, it makes me happy and this website is about who I am.
Even with all my faults and shortcomings, my awesome friends have told me I am easy to like and generally a very nice person. I do believe in kindness and treating others with respect. It’s all about the 🐬 Aloha! 🌺
If one is to follow ones own advice and mine is “Do what you love and love what you do“, I will keep doing the work on the website. I may not be loving the process of editing this website at the moment because it’s been three long weeks, I will keep going! Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones and until next time,
